I'm Back

Last time I posted, I planned on creating a few things and then posting them the next day. At the time, I had no clue I was about to get my butt kicked by some allergies! lol The whole famly got sick and stayed miserable for the better part of an entire week. Things are better now thank goodness!

So anyway, I did get to create a couple of things. And I made it to the fabric store yesterday. That was fun! There were so many beautiful fabrics but I had to practice restraint. I got a few to start with and I'll go back for more once I make something with these. I plan on sewing a couple of aprons, a couple of throw pillows (cushions) and maybe a little tote bag. Look at these pretty things!

So last week was the official start of summer for my son. It didn't really count though because we didn't do much of anything but lay around. He's back to his normal active self now. I need to come up with some activities for us to do. He's not much of a arts and crafts kind of guy. He does like to participate in everyday activities, like watering plants and frosting cupcakes. Hmmm...

I'll leave you with a couple more pictures. The cone is made from vintage wallpaper that my friend Maria gave me.
